About

A COPYWRITER

Many copywriters can write. Many teachers can teach. Many playwrights can write plays. Very few people cAN Combine all three.

AFter more than a year of dedicated study through the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy, I’m absolutely thrilled to officially turn my writing passion into a profession and launch my freelance copywriting business.

My writing and teaching background allow me to bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and communication to every project. My Strengths lie in storytelling, audience engagement, communication, simplifying complex ideas and writing with empathy and intention whilst inspiring action.

Together, my vast experience in these areas enable me to create thoughtful, authentic copy that not only reflects a brand’s voice but that also delivers meaningful results.

A sophisticated, theater-inspired writing workspace featuring a worn yet elegant script binder open to annotated pages on a dark oak table. Nearby, a vintage brass desk lamp with a fabric shade casts warm, focused light across highlighted passages and colored sticky tabs. In the softly blurred background, a hint of a black-box stage with an empty director’s chair and stacked prop boxes suggests a rehearsal space. The composition is photographed from a slightly elevated angle, with the script in sharp focus and the stage elements fading into creamy bokeh. The mood is contemplative and creative, blending the worlds of playwriting and professional copywriting in a cinematic, photographic style.
A close-up, cinematic shot of a laptop displaying a clean, minimalist document on a dark mode screen, placed on a slate-gray desk beside a stack of printed copy marked with precise red-ink edits. A slim, metallic keyboard and a wireless mouse sit neatly aligned, and to the side, a small, modern notebook lies open with structured bullet points. Cool, indirect natural light from a nearby window illuminates the scene, creating a soft gradient across the desk surface and gentle reflections on the laptop’s edge. Photographic realism with a rule-of-thirds composition emphasizes clarity and attention to detail, capturing the mood of focused professional editing and copy refinement for business clients.
A meticulously arranged writing desk representing a professional atelier, centered around an open, cream-colored notebook filled with elegant, handwritten lines. Surrounding it are a matte black fountain pen with a gold nib, neatly stacked manuscript pages secured with brass clips, and a slim laptop partially closed. The desk is a warm walnut wood surface near a large window, with bookshelves and theater posters softly blurred in the background. Late afternoon natural light spills across the scene, creating gentle highlights on the paper and subtle shadows from the pen. Photographic realism, shot at eye level with a shallow depth of field, conveys a calm, focused atmosphere that feels both creative and polished, ideal for a writing services homepage hero image.

‘I have had the privilege of working with Erin multiple times working in theatre and comedy. She is one of the cleverest and funniest writers you will ever meet but she also has a deep understanding of structure, pacing and character. In addition to being a brilliant playwright, she’s also a brilliant teacher with a passion for inspiring emerging talent, shaping minds and sharing her love of theatre. I directed Erin’s brilliant five-star, two-time EdFringe sellout Bad Teacher and we share a theatre company and an award winning comedy duo together. She’s also an award winning playwright in her own right, does standup and spoken word in addition to being a drama teacher. Truly there is no one better suited to tutoring you in playwriting! Hire her immediately.’

‘I know Erin as my A Level Drama teacher, who taught me throughout my studies. She was an excellent teacher who genuinely supported her students and helped build both their skills and confidence. Erin is aN EXCELLENT tutor in Drama and Theatre Studies, and she combines strong subject knowledge with an encouraging, approachable teaching style. She makes complex performance and theory work easy to understand and engaging.

One memorable experience was during our devised performance process, where Erin guided us from early ideas through to a finished piece. She gave constructive feedback throughout and encouraged creativity while helping us stay focused and structured. I would recommend Erin because she creates a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks. She is patient, inspiring, and highly effective at helping learners improve and gain confidence.’

‘Erin was my teacher for A-level Drama and is one of the reasons I fell in love with Theatre! I went on to apply and complete a BA in Theatre, under her guidance, and have since worked as a lighting and sound technician and have progressed to a stage manager. I have also been lucky enough to see Erin’s own work and she is nothing short of a genius!’

‘Erin was my Drama teacher at 6th form. I did not pick drama in GCSE but my best friend had her as a teacher and told me how fun Drama was and how amazing Erin teaches, not just that but she makes the lessons very fun too.

Erin was the one who engaged us to push our achievements further, she gave us advice and lessons that me and my classmates took with us until now. I never expected to love Drama and that was all because of Erin, not only did she make everything so easy for me to understand the topics we studied but she also gave me honest opinions on how to make my paragraphs and performances better. In result, I got higher than my target grade for A-Levels, which I never expected to get.

I recommend Erin because she will make sure everything is understood by the students well and will also give you an honest opinion on how to improve. All of this will result to a greater mark and amazing experience to have Erin as a teacher.’

‘Erin is one of the best teachers I have come across. She was my teacher throughout Years 11–13, and I can’t thank her enough for helping me reach my full potential. She’s extremely organised and enthusiastic about teaching, and you can really tell when someone truly loves what they do. I think her passion IS really reflected in the way she taught me, as throughout the years I was consistently achieving top grades thanks to her guidance and support.’
